Giorgio Orsi

I was born in Magenta (Italy) the 8th of August 1982

I’m currently a Ph.D Student at the doctoral school in ICT of Politecnico di Milano.

In 2006 I obtained the Laurea Specialistica in Ingegneria Informatica (MSc in Computer Science Engineering) at Politecnico di Milano with the degree of 108/110. The master thesis “An ontology-based data integration system solving semantic inconsistencies” sees as advisor Professor Letizia Tanca.

In 2004 I sustained the Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with score: 213/300.

In 2004 I graduated with a Laurea di Primo Livello in Ingegneria Informatica (BSc in Computer Science Engineering) at Politecnico di Milano with the degree of 107/110. My Bachelor thesis is titled “Multi-device synchronization of vCards with SyncML”, advisor: Professor Barbara Pernici.

In 2001 I received the high school degree (94/100) at I.T.I.S. Stanislao Cannizzaro of Rho (MI).

Research interests:

• Ontology-based, heterogeneous and dynamic data-integration systems (HD-DIS).
• Context-aware data design, customization and tailoring.
• Software architecture recovery.
